1What Bubka Sports Lab is

Bubka Sports Lab is a marketplace that connects football coaches with players, athletes and parents looking for coaching. The Platform lets you find coaches, book sessions, message each other, join sessions in person or live online, and pay.

Bubka Sports Lab is not a coaching provider and is not a party to the coaching relationship. Coaches are independent providers. They sell their services directly to buyers and are responsible for the quality, safety and delivery of their sessions. We do not guarantee any coaching outcome.

In the mobile apps, buyers can book and pay for one-to-one sessions with a coach, either in person or live online. Packages are sold only on the Bubka Sports Lab website and cannot be bought or accessed in the mobile apps.

2Eligibility and accounts

You must give accurate, current information when you register. Each account has one role: coach or player. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity on your account.

Coaches must be reviewed and approved by Bubka Sports Lab, and must connect a Teya merchant account, before they can accept bookings or publish packages. Players can register and book without prior approval.

Players below our minimum age can only register after a parent or guardian confirms consent. The contact details on such an account are treated as the parent's or guardian's. The parent or guardian is responsible for the account and all activity on it.

3Coach responsibilities

Coaches act as independent providers, not as employees or agents of Bubka Sports Lab. Coaches are solely responsible for:

the accuracy of their profile, session rate, session duration and listings;

the safety and quality of the sessions they deliver;

complying with any coaching, safeguarding or licensing rules that apply to them;

issuing any invoices to buyers and meeting their own tax obligations.

We review coach profile information, including credentials, bio and tier claims. Changes may be reviewed again before they appear publicly. Your existing profile, packages and bookings keep working while a review is in progress.

Coaches must keep their Teya merchant account connected. If it is disconnected, new bookings are blocked until it is reconnected. Sessions that were already confirmed go ahead as scheduled.

We may suspend or remove any coach account that breaches these Terms, misrepresents qualifications or poses a safety risk.

4Payments and commission

Payments are processed by Teya, our payment provider. When a buyer pays, the coach is the seller and merchant of record. The full payment goes to the coach's Teya merchant account, and Teya issues the payment receipt.

Bubka Sports Lab charges coaches a commission of 20% of each transaction. We invoice coaches for this commission, and coaches must pay each invoice by its due date. Coaches can see a summary of each transaction's gross amount, Bubka Sports Lab fee and net amount in their account.

For one-to-one sessions, the buyer pays in full at the time of booking. Prices are shown in Icelandic Króna (ISK). Session rates and package prices are as displayed at the time of purchase and do not change for a booking already made.

The coach's relationship with Teya, including Teya's processing fees and settlement to the coach's bank account, is governed by the coach's own agreement with Teya.

5Cancellations, no-shows and refunds

If a buyer cancels more than 24 hours before a scheduled session, they receive a full refund.

If a buyer cancels within 24 hours of a scheduled session, a cancellation fee of 50% of the session price applies and the rest is refunded.

If a coach declines a booking, or Bubka Sports Lab cancels a confirmed session (for example, after a coach approval review), the buyer receives a full refund regardless of timing.

A no-show is treated as a late cancellation. It can only be reported after a short grace period has passed from the scheduled start time. If either party disputes a cancellation or no-show, we review the available information, including session records, and our decision on how any fee is treated is final.

Refunds are issued through Teya from the coach's merchant account to the buyer's original payment method. The buyer always receives the full refund amount due; any processing costs on the refund are borne by the coach under their agreement with Teya. The time a refund takes to appear depends on the buyer's card issuer.

6Content and intellectual property

Coaches keep ownership of the materials, programmes and content they upload. They grant Bubka Sports Lab a licence to host that content and deliver it to buyers who have purchased access.

Where an online session is recorded, the recording forms part of the session record. A coach may only add a recording to their content library where they are entitled to do so.

You may not copy, redistribute or resell any coach content outside the Platform. All Bubka Sports Lab branding, software and platform design are our property and may not be used without our permission.

7Reviews

After a completed session, players can leave a review and rating for the coach. Reviews for completed packages are left on the website. Each player can leave one review per coach. Coaches can reply once to each review they receive.

Reviews and replies are moderated. We may remove or decline to publish any review or reply that is abusive, fraudulent or otherwise breaches these Terms.

8Prohibited conduct and objectionable content

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not:

post or send content that is abusive, hateful, sexual, violent, threatening, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing or otherwise objectionable, whether in messages, reviews, profiles, uploads or live sessions;

harass, bully, threaten or endanger any other user, especially a minor;

misrepresent your identity, age or qualifications;

arrange payment outside the Platform to avoid commission;

attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Platform.

You can report any content or user that breaches these Terms by contacting support@bubkasports.com. We review reports, remove content that breaches these Terms, and may suspend or permanently remove any user who posts it.

9Suspension, termination and account deletion

We may suspend or terminate any account for breach of these Terms, fraud, safety concerns or a failed approval review.

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings in the app or on the website. Deletion may be delayed while you have upcoming sessions, until they are completed or cancelled. What happens to your data after deletion is explained in our Privacy Policy.

10Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is." We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or guarantee any coaching outcome.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the commission paid to us on the relevant transaction, except where liability cannot be limited by law. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of coaches or players.

11App Store and Google Play

If you downloaded our app from the Apple App Store or Google Play:

These Terms are between you and Bubka Football ehf. only, not Apple Inc. or Google LLC. We, not Apple or Google, are solely responsible for the app and its content.

We grant you a limited, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions or the Google Play Terms of Service, as applicable.

We are solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the app. Apple and Google have no obligation to do so.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation for the app. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price of the app (if any) to you.

We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.

If a third party claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.

You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

You must comply with any applicable third-party terms, such as your mobile carrier's terms, when using the app.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

12Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Iceland, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you have under EEA law.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will tell you about material changes in the app. The version and date you accepted are always available in your account settings.
